Dubrovnik4U Transfers
Dubrovnik4U is a family business that has been driving guests out of Dubrovnik in a private Mercedes V-Class since 2018: across Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro. The work had always come in by phone and WhatsApp, and that part worked. The site wasn't meant to end that conversation, just to start it earlier: while the guest is still planning the trip, not standing at arrivals.

Approach
With transfers it's easy to assume a booking engine is what's wanted, a card, a calendar, confirmation in a second. Here that would be the wrong thing to build. Dubrovnik4U doesn't sell a seat, it sells a driver who knows the road, the border and where to stop along the way; a drive like that is arranged, not taken off a shelf. So the booking system stayed deliberately simple: email and WhatsApp, nothing else. A five-step form asks for everything a quote needs (route, date, flight number, hotel, passengers, luggage) and arranges it into a tidy email. The price on the site is a guide; a person confirms the final one. No card, no account, no step that exists only because everyone else has one.
Challenge
Guests plan from Milan, Munich or Madrid, months ahead, with three questions: do you even drive to me, what does it cost, and are you real. Until the site answered those, every question landed as a message someone in the family had to type out by hand, usually "how much to Split?", usually for the tenth time that week.
Solution
We put the catalogue in the open: nine routes and eight tours, each with a duration and a "from" price, in English, Italian, German and Spanish. Booking stays an enquiry, but one that does the interviewing itself, collecting route, date, pickup point, flight number, hotel, passengers and luggage across five steps. And for anyone who won't touch a form, the contact page sets WhatsApp, phone and email side by side, all on the same number.
Result
Guests arrive with a question and leave with a price, before they send anything. What reaches the family is no longer "how much to Split?" but a finished brief, so the reply can be a quote instead of five follow-up questions. The site doesn't replace the conversation, it trims it down to the part worth having.
What we built
- Nine transfer routes with a duration and a "from" price: from the airport to the city (€55, 25 min) to Zadar (€550, 6 h); across the border, Kotor €300, Mostar €380, Sarajevo €480
- Eight tours, each with its own page: an hour-by-hour itinerary, what's included and what isn't, a gallery, from an olive-oil tasting (€45) to Mostar and Kravica (€450)
- A five-step booking (what, when, details, contact, review) that ends in an email, with no card and no user account
- A contact page where WhatsApp, phone and email are given equal weight and lead to the same number, because some guests won't even open a form
- Four languages: English, Italian, German and Spanish: the whole site, not just the menu
- A Mercedes V-Class fleet with real numbers: 7 passengers, 5 large suitcases, a driver 24/7
- Reviews alongside the offer (5.0 on TripAdvisor and Google, 95+ recommendations) and the family story on the "About" page
