Navy Blue & Blue Cave Tours

Navy Blue Yachting and Blue Cave Tours are two brands owned by the same operator: the same fleet of speedboats, the same routes out of Split — the Blue Cave, Vis, Hvar, the Pakleni Islands — but two separate faces to the guest. The same boat can be sold twice and sail only once. The job was to build two shopfronts that don't know each other, and one back office that knows everything.

Website — Navy Blue Yachting & Blue Cave Tours

Approach

We started by listing what the two brands actually share: the fleet, the routes, the dates and the crew. Three group tours run under both names at the same prices — Blue Cave & 5 Island at €119 per person, the full-day Golden Cape with Hvar and the Pakleni Islands at €119, the half-day Blue Lagoon & Trogir at €70 — and private charters start at €1,100 per boat, up to twelve guests. Everything else is a difference in presentation. So we split the frontend into two standalone sites, each with its own name, colours and tone, and underneath them we built a single system: one calendar, one checkout and one admin panel the owner runs both from.

What we built

  • Two separate websites, each with its own identity
  • A shared admin panel — arranging and sorting excursions, managing fleet and crew, both brands' occupancy on one screen
  • Online booking with date selection and a 15% deposit via Stripe — cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • One availability calendar that both brands' reservations flow into
  • Tour pages with an interactive route map, a stop-by-stop itinerary and the price
  • Private charters from €1,100 per boat and a taxi boat, under the Navy Blue name
  • A gallery of the cave, the beaches and the islands
  • Navy Blue translated into 8 languages — from English and German to Czech, Polish and Norwegian; Blue Cave Tours into four

Two brands, one fleet

The same owner, the same boats, two completely different faces. Navy Blue Yachting carries the whole offer — group tours, private charters and a taxi boat — while Blue Cave Tours, which faces the guest as Salty Adventures, plays a single card: the bestseller tour to the Blue Cave. Nothing on either site hints that the other one exists.

The tour page answers everything before the call

Blue Cave & 5 Island Tour — departure at 07:30, ten hours, five islands: Biševo, Stiniva, Budikovac, Hvar and Milna on Brač. The price, cancellation terms and weather guarantee sit above the fold, and further down the guest finds an interactive route map and a stop-by-stop itinerary. Cancellation is free seven or more days before departure, and if the sea isn't safe, the date moves at no charge.

From date to deposit in two steps

The guest doesn't open an account, doesn't wait for confirmation and doesn't pay for the whole tour up front. They submit a date and party size, leave 15%, and get a spot on the boat — and in that same second the slot is taken on both brands.

Payment step — 15% deposit of €35.70 via Stripe
The widget calculates the 15% deposit — for two people €35.70 of a €238 total — and charges it via Stripe: cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The remaining €202.30 is paid on the day of departure, on board.

Technologies

Both sites and the admin panel stand on the same code — a fix or a new tour in the back office reaches both shopfronts at once.
